If you believe very strongly in the rule of law, does that mean you are opposed to any form of civil disobedience?

No, I think that is putting the cart in front of the horse.
We only approve of government, at all, in any form, becuase we need it to achieve certain desired ends, such as protection of property. Rule of law (as opposed to arbitrary rule of men) is one way for government to achieve the desired ends.
In other words, rule of law is only a means to an end, but not an end in an of itself. We wouldn't be smart to respect the means above the ends.
